68, passed on December 11, 2016. He had been employed as an engineer in the jewelry industry, and enjoyed carpentry, photography, karate and judo. He was an artifact and antique collector. Abel was a very giving man and always thought of others first. He was an avid dancer and was very proud of his Cape Verdean Heritage.
He is survived by a daughter Sandy Fonseca, two sons, Christopher and Yuri Fonseca, eight siblings, Odette, Alfredo, Ana Maria, Leonilde, Fatima, Isabel, Meno and Jorge.
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 16th from 5pm to 8pm with a service at 8pm in the Keefe Funeral home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln.
